India’s economic growth is projected to remain above 7% in FY27, with strong investment activity, rising corporate capital expenditure and export growth expected to increasingly drive the country’s economic expansion.
Referring to President Pezeshkian's recent bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Baghaei reaffirmed that Iran plans to leverage diplomatic engagements in India to expand economic collaboration.
Just days before the BRICS summit, Mr. Baghaei said that Chabahar Port is one of the issues of bilateral talks between India and Iran. He said, “Various issues are usually discussed during consultations between Iran and India, including the Chabahar Port, which is important to both countries.”
