🛣️ InsightStack: ROADMAP (2025)

InsightStack is designed to support documentation-first knowledge systems across evaluation, development programming, and institutional learning.

This roadmap lays out our planned enhancements for 2025 and beyond.

✅ Phase 1: Foundation Setup (Complete or In Progress)

  • Created initial folder structure for calculators/, KM_tools/, learning_layers/
  • Developed README.md with repo purpose and related links
  • Added first sample files and templates
  • Set up GitHub Pages site for repo navigation
  • Add footer, badges, and visuals for improved presentation

🔄 Phase 2: Content Expansion (Q2 2025)

  • Added observable_notebooks/, taguette_coding/, open_data_editor/, and other documentation-first field tools

  • Complete all calculators in:
    • block_level_development/
    • population_projection/
    • environmental_change/
  • Add 2–3 worked examples under learning_layers/ with diagrams
  • Upload full KM_tools/ documentation set (SOPs, tagging taxonomies)
  • Add at least one Markdown-based tutorial on knowledge system design

🧪 Phase 3: Interactivity & Testing (Q3 2025)

  • Add dummy data + validation tests for calculators
  • Introduce a tests/ folder with reproducibility checks
  • Optional: integrate markdown or notebook rendering workflows

🌐 Phase 4: External Engagement (Late 2025)

  • Add Zenodo registration + citation badge
  • Prepare a blog post or note on “Building Open Knowledge Repos”
  • Invite contributions from other researchers
